~ New Owners, Same Love for Animals ~

We are very excited to announce to the wonderful community of Luray that Mystic Pet Resort and Spa is now under new ownership. Tim and I (Julia) fell in love with the majestic mountain town, the people, and the whole “Mystic”al property. Being here feels like a dream come true. If you see us pinching ourselves, you now know why!

We would firstly like to thank Lena and Gareth for everything they have done for us during this handover. From the previous owners, you can feel all the love and hard work they have put in to build everything here for the last 20+ years. We have been amazed with what they have created and are so very grateful to them. For the last few months, they worked hand and hand with us to insure operations would continue with ease. Now they are off to Australia to enjoy retirement and we are sad to see them go; but are also very thrilled about their next chapter.

We also would like to thank the community of Luray and the surrounding areas for such a warm welcome. Everyone has been so nice. It almost feels like meeting long lost family members. We do understand that some have concerns with our new management and we want to relieve those uncertainties. We do not intend to perform major changes to the current business offerings at this time.

We have had a number of visitors stop in already but we invite the rest of the community to stop by to say hi during business hours. We would love to meet you all even if you don’t currently have a pet.
